I want a bird but my parents don`t like the idea ?

i want a cockatiel like so bad and my parents are kinda iffy on it and you can not imagine how bad i wan`t 1. do you have any good things to say to them bout the cockatiel to get them to say yes?

Yes show them that you have researched the extent of what it takes to properly provide and clean up after this type of pet. If you can print out some of this research and show them that you are very serious to the dedication it takes to keep one and keep it happy you will be much more likely to win over your parents. Most important PLEASE find a very sweet baby tiel...alot of them in the pet stores can be mean, try to find a local and honest breeder that you feel good about getting a baby from ask if they have referrals and let them know it is important to you that you have a healthy sweet natured baby. I live in virginia and am raising very cute very sweet babies now!(wink, wink) Good luck they are great little lovely pets!!!By the way the average lifespan of cockatiels are between 10-15 years males 20 years max....this is if they are on an excellent diet.

um.. well my answer would be try to act respondisble, try to teach them that u can be trusted with a bird... if they still arnt sure, talk to them that may just change their minds... try to make them know that ur ready for a bird.... i do hope u the best of luck with everything... hope u get ur bird!
