Try your local humane society the animals there are always open to snuggling My humane society {NEVADA} they having visiting rooms maybe ask if you can hold the bunny before you get it just to make sure it's the one you want usually the shelters will give you a free cage that your bunny can live in! when you go to get your rabbit, make sure you handle it before choosing. don't just pick one up. also, when you bring your rabbit home make sure to pay lots of attention to it. not just 5 minutes. rabbits love to be talked to and pet. i would suggest picking up a book or two--it wouldn't hurt. and don't put your face right by a rabbit's--not a good idea. lol. as long as you care for them plenty, there will be rewards--such as snuggling:)

All I know from my experience is that my dutch is more friendly then my lionhead. My lionhead came from a petstore and my dutch came from a rabbit rescue.

My dutch is spayed my lionhead isn't.
