  1. keep doing the plays, take singing lessons if you can and actign lessons, ask your mom to go in the phone book and look up the local agency and ask them about commercials

they'll need you to come in do a screen test, you'll need headshots and they might cost  a little over 300 dollars for professional ones, or you can just take them on a regular camera and print them out, put them in a profile, make a profile too

write down all the plays you've been in and what role you had, write down all the groups and activities your in, if you had singing/ acting lessons and who the teacher was, even write down if you can speak a different language or play a instrument or something

  2. it's not all about how good you are, it's also about how much experience you have. you have to start small to end big, go to your local community theater and do as many plays as you can (even behind stage is good experience) Be in drama at school and even do school plays. You want to build up your resume a lot before you start TV work. After you do plays see if there are any acting agencies around you that have classes or workshops for beginning actors/actresses. Then get headshots (most actresses/actors have black and white, but i would get a few of black and white and color.) Then you might want to look into getting an agent there the best source of information for TV or professional theater auditions -- and never pay for anything. Start with doing commercials (most actors/actresses start that way) then you can do bigger things. Also a great thing to put on a resume are sports do you do sports can you sing, dance, taken lessons? Good Luck! :)

  3. It's not just about how good you are.  Experience is a big factor, as is timing and luck.  Do you have any performing art societies at your school?  Or perhaps after school?  Sign yourself up for some auditions, no matter how small they may be.  Any experience is good experience.  There are plenty of drama, dance and performing arts progams in the USA, including texas.

Good luck!  I hope it is what you enjoy.

  4. 1. lose your ego.  2. get all the experience and training you can, like your dance and singing lessons. 3. Get your parents to help you as you cannot do anything professional without them signing for it.  Texas is a good place to become a professional actor.

  5. learn at acting school
