I want a cell phone!?

Question

my parents think i am not responsible enough 4 a cell phone.if i just got a cell i would take awesome care of it.how do i convince my parents i'm responsible enough.i want cell phone so bad!

Why don't you suggest to your parents that you could get a pre-paid phone as it is more secure in your parents eyes. Once the credit runs out, no more calls or texts.

If you want a cell on a plan, then just keep on nagging... you'll eventually get one =P.

why dont you ask them if you can get a trac phone first and if you are responsible enough for that then they'll get you a regular one. a trac phone is one that prepaid and your parents can control your minutes as much as they want since they have to buy them

beg alot!!!or if they are resistant help them out or show with like your pet (if u have 1) that u can take care of it and then ask

Why? you might as well carry around a cordless wall phone. Having a cell phone doesn't seem that important to me. Just wait a little while and either get enough money your self to but it or show your parent s you are responsible.

just get a prepaid phone.

they have everything mostly of a regular phone except no contract so you can control it!

Well I just bought my daughter who is 11 a cell phone.  How old are you?  That makes a difference.  If you really want a cell phone I would give your parents all of the reasons why you should have one.  

For example:  You will be able to contact them in case of a problem.

                     You would be able to always be reachable.

                     They could track your movements with your phone.  (GPS)

Then if they don't go for any of those reasons you should ask them for a pre-paid cell phone.  And offer to work for the minutes.  For example:

I will do a certain amount of jobs around the house if you purchase a certain amount of minutes a month for my pre-paid cell phone.

well don't beg a ton it will just annoy them and it will NEVER work!! try doing some extra choirs around the house or offer to pay for half of it if you go overboard.Hope I helped  ;)

frist it matters how old u are i think a good age is middle skool[junor high] or high skool!! middle skool is probly the best i got my frist cell phone in the beginng of 6th grade in the summer  

how i got mine was easy i said dont give me an expensive phone [but more then $30] plus there are plans and that stuff which are good  but dont beg cuz then they will ignore u or wont think 2

ha! goodluck! i got 1...had it in my purse......went to a frendz....came home slept....woke up...went too skool.....GOT MY DAM PHONE TAKEN....anyways say that u will help make the money for it. It worx that b y i b getn a new 1 soon!
