  1. Look in the newspaper for private rentals. It´s never cheap in peak season July/August so good luck!!

  2. try cottages for you have found the accommodation advertised in Spain very competitive best of luck

  3. ive found the cheapest villas are those advertised on ebay -i didnt realise they sold holidays too-but ive been looking myself and there are loads in benidorm and im certain much cheaper than travel shop prices-just type in spanish villa on ebay

  4. Wow. Everyone would want that but I don't think it exists.

July and August along the Mediterranean coast, including Alicante, are considered PEAK SEASON and all villas available are not only triple their normal price but are rented out months (sometimes years) in advance. You have somewhat better luck going inland deeper into the province of Alicante. Most of the villas are rented for the entire month of July or the entire month of August as most Spaniards take one (or two) months off in the summer.

Best of luck and enjoy your summer in Spain!
