I want a cigarette lighter a/c for my car!?

Well, Im fixing to buy this car that did not come equiped with a/c. Did some research and, yea, a/c installation is a beast. So I was wondering if anyone knows of any good peripherals that you install in your cigarette lighter that cools you down.

So far its between some huge cooler looking contraption and a cruddy fan that just pushes hot air around.

Saw a guy who put a hitch mounted cargo platform on his van, drilled a hole in the side of the van, then ran a generator on the cargo holder, ran an extension cord inside, and powered a window AC unit he had in his back window.
