I want a dance job!! i need help/advice!!!?

ok so i'm tired of working at the job i have (which is retail) and want to look for another one.. but not just any job i want a job that involves dance! i wanna be part of something (like a company) that gets paid to do performances, shows, and some training mainly hip-hop. (by the way i'm from the SF bay area)

what better way to get paid than doing something i actually like right?!

but i dont know how to get those kind of jobs. i'm not the best dancer i could use training but it's like a dream job to if i could do that.

how can i get/find a job like this??

Of you have a real passion for dance then go ahead!!

dont waste your time deciding whether or not your rady START NOW!!

firstly, you'll need to brush up n your dance skills. dance companys, competitive studios take students with the right technique and knowledge..

save up the money you earn now and pay for extra dance classes..

enroll in as many as you can..

looking for a dance studio/ school can be really hard!!

trust me!! (personal experience)..

make sure u know what type of studio u want..

you can talk to your dance teacher and tell her bout wanting to do dance as a job/career.

They'll b more then willing to help!

Remember that you need to devote time..

cut down the hobbies that you do for amusement..

dance is the only thing you need to concentrate now on..

After a couple of months training you can look at serious school.

serious schools have serious auditions..

you might not b able to perform as soon as you go...

but you'll definitely compete, dance, perform with other students around the states..

the higher the reputation..

the quicker the you can travel overseas.. and be world wide known..

dancers get good money..

the more devoted, and hardworking you are the more money you'll get paid..
