  1. Ferret

    thts how you spell it!

  2. You should ABSOLUTELY NOT breed ferrets.  Only experienced breeders who have lots of knowledge regarding the species should be breeding animals.  You haven't ever even owned a ferret!!  Breeding any animal should be a well researched, thought-out thing.  There are already too many unwanted pets in this world to be randomly breeding animals to make money.  If you want to make money, go get a real job.

I'm totally for starting off potentially owning some ferrets if that's what you want.  Really make sure you do your research though.  Ferrets live 4-5 years, so you want to make sure that's a commitment you can make.  Additionally, ferrets are very time consuming, illegal to own in some areas (California, NYC for example), expensive to care for (need to visit a vet yearly for vaccinations, etc), and more.  If your city does allow ferrets, chances are they will have to be vaccinated for rabies every year and registered.  Ferrets are the only animal besides cats and dogs that this is done for (for the most part).  Ferrets should be spayed and neutered as unspayed females who don't mate can die from it.

Here's some great sites to check out regarding ferret care:
