  1. Chevy Cobalts, Chevey Aveos are the best available American made small cars. They should be generally cheap in a 2006-2007 models, or the aveos you can find new for a 10-11

    good luck

  2. Your best options would be something used, probably around 3-5 years old. Something like a Pontiac Sunfire might be a good option.

  3. Actually, have you driven a Focus?  They drive quite well - much better than Cobalts in my opinion.  Also, consider the Pontiac Vibe.  Check out www.fueleconomy.gov for gas mileage on new and used cars.

  4. You could find a used chevy cobalt coupe for anywhere from 8-13,000, that is the only one i can think of right now. You can also get a base model new one for around 13,000 as well, depending on the dealer.

  5. Ford Mustang

    V6 03

    V8 01

  6. My definition of gas saver at this point is anything that gets over 25 MPG.  Hopefully that will change soon.  You can find a list of cars by MPG at http://used-cars-sales.biz/UsedCarsSales...  You can do an advanced search and put "MPG" as the search and a max buy it now price of $10,000 and  sort from least expensive to highest to get the price range you want.  Most of them are Japanese or tiny cars like the Geo but there are some normal cars like the 1994 Pontiac Grand Am with a claim of 34 MPG for $3000, for example.

  7. a chevy cobalt
