I want a guinea pig...where can i get a healthy one?

I really want a Guinea Pig (preferably with brown, black and white, or brown and white, or black and white) I dont want an unhealthy one...if you know of someone selling healthy guinea pigs in the dallas/fort worth area PLEASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!! =D

You can look at a close shelter for a healthy one :)

Definitely avoid pet stores if you want a healthy one. Try rescues! Guinea pigs are really overpopulated right now: http://www.petfinder.com/

And get two, not one. I'd recommend getting a same s*x pair since they are really social and shouldn't be kept alone.
