  1. how old are u from 12-16 yes older then try a 200 or 250

  2. They are a great bike and if you are intending to race that bike is a winner.  My son races one and here in Australia they race against the 85cc class with no modifications allowed to any bikes raced.  The crf150r is nearly always the lead bike with the exceptions of things going wrong in races.  The lap time of the two lead bikes in a state titles just recently was equivalent to the top couple of 4 stroke 250cc A grade riders.  So they can move with a good rider onboard.

  3. Really, any bike is good... I've never done more than a tad of research about bikes,a nd having had them range from really cheap to moderately expensive, i never felt the difference.

  4. That is an excellent bike. It is a little expensive for a first bike but if you don't mind crashing it then get it. I would recomend going on craigslist or cycletrader and getting a ttr125L or crf150F. These bikes can be dropped off a cliff, lit on fire, and then be picked up and ridden home. THEN you can sell it for the same amount of money you baught it for and get your SCREAMING FAST BEAUTIFUL (because it has none of your scares on it hahaha.....) CRF150R. Thats what I did except I went to a 450 instead of a 150 but the 150r's are really nice bikes.

  5. It is the easiest motocross bike to learn on that you will find. A much better choice than an 85 or 125 2 stroke.

  6. The main thing you need to worry about is how much you really want to spend on a starter bike. My first dirt bike was a used Yamaha PW 80. It was a cheap bike so it gave me room to kind of beat it up as I was learning on it and it didn't have too much power to make me hurt my self.

I gained some skills, two more used bikes, and now I ride a brand new Suzuki RM-Z250. Motocross is a dangerous sport and I've broken 12 bones while riding. It is very important to not start with too much power and too make sure someone experienced helps you learn.

    Hope I helped,
