  1. quarter horse, we had one horse that would throw you back in your saddle he would move. but riding a  horses  real fast  you are more prone to fallen off or the horse breaking down. just enjoy your horse don't work it to death riding like a fool

  2. Amanda G this is one on your best answers

Yes, I will give you all of praise ,, I think your's is the best !!

  3. arabs or the australian stock horse over rough ground

  4. get a mustang.  There are rescue programs where you can adopt them, and I imagine you can find one of those places by searching the internet.  You can get some of them for pretty cheap.

  5. Arabians - known for their endurance... can go for hours

Here's a link to get an idea  =)

  6. No horse, if all you intend to do on horseback is go fast for long periods of time you should not be riding.  There are breeds known for endurance, such as the arabian and akhal-teke and there are breeds known for speed such as the thoroughbred and quarter horse.  The hallmark of fast runners is that they can't run at top speed for long, and the hallmark of the distance runners is that they don't go very fast.  It is inhumane to simply run a horse into the ground, you would ruin it.  With proper conditioning a good horse can move at a steady speed for miles, but steady speed is not the same thing as top speed, the most efficient gait a horse moves at is the trot, trying to gallop the same distance would result in a tired, broken down horse, look at the recent accidents in thoroughbred racing, a tired horse's muscles are weak and stress begins to build up in the bones, causing break down.  Please take riding lessons and learn to ride responsibly.

  7. yes but is work to have a horse u have to move pipes they are so expencive but fun. a tenicy walker is the best

  8. Arabians are probably the most obvious answer. The only problem with Arabs is that they are also a bit too excitable and unpredictable ( and often very expensive). Standardbreds are coming to be more popular in endurance rides theyve more recently been recognised for their stamina. Also standardbreds are known for their speed, obviously, being used for racing...and a bonus they are very very cheap most of the time and a bit more placid than arabs.
