I want a job but really dont want to work at a fast food restaurant..?

I'll be 17 next month and I never had a job yet so I don't know where to apply..

Contact a local concert venue and see if they are hiring.  You may end up slinging fast food, but at least the musinc in the background will be good.

Sporting venues are also good.

I have the same problem!!! I would really hate to work in a fast food place because of the smell but hey money is money. So I'd say look for a job in another  area for a week or so and if you can't find one say hello to the fast food restaurant.

Try asking around in a mall near you at stores, and ask if they're hiring. Or if there's a tjMaxx, try that. My sister got a job there. It really depends on where you live. Best of luck. :)

Where do you always shop?  Are you friendly with any sales people?  Tell all the people you know who are working that you are looking for a job and ask if you can use them for a reference.

Parks and Recreation is looking for summer help with kids at municipal swimming pool where I live and to supervise playgrounds.  Try your cities bulletin board on the web.

The library maybe?  This would be on a city bulletin board, too.
