a p, There is no reason you can't if that's what you want. Go for it.  If you can't find the information you need through job placement services, go to your Land Grant University and you will find Australian Graduate students who will give you first hand advice.  Unlike some countries, Australia sends only the brightest students to grad school here and they always return to their country after getting their degree.  I knew two while I was in grad school and they were the most friendly and the smartest people I ever met.  Good Luck in your search.
