Hazel, you need to look closer to home.

Offer your services to the neighbourhood elderly.   Make up a flier with a list of jobs you're willing to do, like cleaning, yard work, shopping, errands like runs to the post office etc.

Include a list of suggested rates but include in brackets, (negotiable), so they know you are flexible.   Don't sell yourself too cheap, but don't over charge either.

You'll have more work than you can handle, as well as some great references to add to your resume.  

It will look great on a resume too, because of the initiative it will show to future employers.

Well where do you live for starters, if you live in the UK then you should be able to get a weekend job working as a kitchen porter at the age of 15, I did it when I was your age, it's not the best work but it earns you money. Go around to the local restaurants and cafes and see if they need anyone to help out at the weekends.

Yah, you're right! It's so hard looking for a job especially if you're still underage. You may find jobs there but most of them are informal and low-paying because of your age.

Well, I'm not an expert about your place but I applied that experience in general. Maybe working for McDo or a company being run by your relatives would be easier. Others include baby-sitting, newspaper boy/girl, etc.

Hope you'll still find one... Good luck on your job hunt though

just try simple things if ur tying to make money. go around ur area and look for job u can do.

-babysitting

-taking care of a house or pets over vacation

Well..you are actually a bit young most jobs require you to be 16 at least but you culd maybe try for a paper round or something just until you turn 16,then you can find something proper,also look out boz some people are willing to take in juniors (hairdresser etc.)

when i was 15 i worked at the local garden centre

thats the only place i could find a job

other than the newsagents - paper round but the moneys not worth it

Buy some sandwich cartons and loafs of bread make some sandwiches up and sell them to builders etc, you will be minted by the end of the day.

When I was 15 I got a job washing cars in a local car sales place, when I had done it for a little while I started to wash lorries for a company that the car sales people knew.  No matter how old you are you have to work hard and get the connections and you will reap the benefits.

babysit. i'm 15 too, and me and my friends all make tons of money babysitting. if you just get one or two regular clients, and charge around $8 an hour depending on the number of kids, you can make some serious money. try getting maybe two or three babysitting jobs a week.

think about it... if you charge $8 an hour, and babysit 10 hours a week, that's $80 right there.

that's if you like kids. if you're not so good with them, but like animals, you could try pet sitting or dogwalking. if none of that sounds good to you, try mowing lawns? shoveling snow in the winter?

go around to your neighbors/relatives and ask them if there's anything you could do for them for some money. my neighbors usually pay me about $25 to mow their lawn, but if you find someone with a really BIG lawn, then you can make a lot of money that way.
