I want a kitten bad!

Question

I have wanted a kitten for a long long long long long long long long long long long long long time, and I have convinced my parents that long too. NOTHING IS WORKING! Can someone please help me! Something almost garunteed to work. I have already charmed them, did chores, cleaned the other cats litter box, done stuff for them, spared them cash, and more! Should all these years just give up? Should I stop trying? I know I can take care of a kitten. I am home for it all the time, I am always willing to go the extra step for all my pets. Please help.

Hi Ashley... I noticed you ask a similar question before and about getting a ferret too.

Perhaps you need to sit down and have a discussion with your parents and learn their extensive reasons as to why they prefer not to have a cat or ferret.  

Even though you are home most of the time now, there will come a time in your life where you will be busy and home much less because of the demands and change of lifestyle typical to older teenagers--driving to visit friends, a job, etc.   Once children graduate from high school, they move on to college or away from home leaving the pet behind with the parents and some parents do not want to deal with the responsibility as such.
