I want a landline telephone, but not AT&T?

I suggest a shortwave radio and a Morse Code transmitter. It will provide hours of entertainment.

It doesn't sound like too much to ask for, but I believe ATT landline is the only one in town.

There are dozens to chose from. I have Road Runner Cable and Phone. The rates are pretty good. I also have unlimited long distance.
