I want a laptop for Christmas. Which is the best?!?

I want a wireless laptop for Christmas and I've found some for 400 dollars that seem like they could be good but I'm not sure which is the best. Could anyone help me? The ones I found were on circuitcity.com

Well. Personally i have a MAC and i love it. Its great for school work, talking to friends and other fun stuff. It runs super fast if u dont download c**p on it. if you download anything on your mac make sure you download from the apple website. I hope i helped

first do you need a laptop

laptops are slow , delicate and very expensive to fix

if you need portability for school or perhaps a small space they are good

if not - getting a laptop because they cool - is just a stupid idea

if you do buy a laptop - get a good one - not a run of the mill low end laptop

If it is dropped - forget it

for that price there are now $ 400 subnotebooks that are smaller and well built - asus makes one , acer just came out with one

the less expensive ones have solid flash memory drives ( no moving parts like a usb flash drive)

these would be a wise choice as they should be somewhat durable

they are small , but have all you want

- wireless , can go on internet , has open office for school built in , plus firefox for browsing

they do not use windows - but most people would never notice the difference

If you need more space they have slots for standard camera memory

sticks which are cheap now

don't buy a standard low end laptop

The one you linked to will be fast enough for whatever you intend  to do. Compaq one as it's the cheapest with the best parts. Reasonable price.

Though on Black Friday, you can probably snatch a $300 laptop. Just wait it out, because they'll always have $400 laptops.
