how old do i have to be to get a mororcycle permit (im turning 16 soon :)) and how old do i have to be to buy a motorcycle?

Where I live, people under 18 who want to ride motorcycles have to take a safety course (recomended for anyone) and have to have a parent sign to say it's ok that the minor rides a motorcycle.

To buy one... Depends on where you get one from, if you'd need a loan to purchase the bike, then you need your parents to sign the loan with you (because it's unlikely that you have a credit score yet). You also need to make sure you get the title for the bike, and I'm not sure how they work that out for minors either.

you can get a permit at 16, you have to be 18 to buy one on your own
