I dont want a second hand one that has been used a million times before by everybody from tramps to movie stars, I want an original. 15. Thank you for asking that question, I am in the same situation, why everyone keep giving old people names, nothing original these days, and they keep saying that it sounds good, how can a name you've heard a thousand time can still sound unique?.but sorry I can't help you because I was going to ask the same question.

  16. Your child will never be a one of kind unless you name her something absolutely ridiculous and made up, which is NEVER, EVER, EVER a good idea. Please do not make up a name.

Go find a name from a different culture. There are plenty of beautiful names out there that most people have never heard of like Acacia (ah CAY shuh), Calista, Mattea, Carys (care iss), Ophelia, Aveline, or Dasia. And then there are the names that are not completely foreign, but just aren't used much like Gianna, Iliana, Thea, Celeste, or Caroline.

I really hope that when you do have a child, you give her a name with some history, a meaning, and a bit of thought put behind it. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE UP A NAME!! I don't know how many times I have to say it. If you give your child a name that people can go home and look up and find in a Shakespearian play or Roman history people will go "Wow, she put some thought into that name". But if you just make it up people will go "Wow, she put no thought into that name."

I hope this was a little help to you.

  17. Yafa----means pretty

  18. hmm.... did you read the article about 'Tallulah does the hula in hawaii'

Yes, that was actually that little girl's name, the whole phrase... bad parents.. bad.

I wouldnt go with that. You could get an 18th century book of names and look in there. Im sure you will see some uncommon ones.

  19. It depends what your surname is; they've got to go together. There have been numerous disasters of bad choice name matches. I had a friend surname Brown who called his son Chrispian!  If you are talking about inventing  name how about Numi, Numie or Numee (New me?)

  20. if you want a name that's individual than i don't think asking other people is the best thing to do :/ ... but your call..

I like the name 'Lani' (pronounced laa-nee) it's Hawaiian and means little flower

  21. Luala...

I don't know! What the christ? You'll have to go into some pretty ugly territory to get one that's never ever been used before..

  22. Try twisting names a little

    Mackaylie

    Hollay

    Christinia

    katia

    Mari

    Or something totally new

    Kastiana

    Pahly

    Crestinia

  23. hey, j**s names are Chooo cute:

    Miyuki , Kasumi , thayaki,,,

    (they have awesome meaning too....)

  24. Carluskiana.

    Pretty sure that's an original.

  25. Elizabeth

    Tammy

    Tilly

    Lizzy

Tabitha (dunno if thats spelt correctly - ta-bi-fa)

  26. LOL and OMGOMGOMG are quite unique. WTF is not recommended, as it will probably become a classic when Gen Y mature. In order to be unique, you might want to play around with the capitalisation so that only part of the name appears to be 'shouting' when signed.

  27. i love tha names stassi & meliha & also teagan

  28. I think  the name "Sitti" ( pronounced as see-ti )  it's a Filipino name which means "Princess"
