;)) i call mine Tiger ;)) his name has nothing to do with it, it just that men like to feel powerful and strong, like a tiger but also gentle and soft when it comes to their partners...and there's nothing like a soft furry kitty :P

i sometimes use dear or darling or even honey or honey-bee. but not that often.

"hey there handsome" is always a nice way to start a conversation/email.

and i used to call my ex boyfriend "Angel" and he loved it. it always helps to give a motivation for the nickname.

When i called my tiger "Tiger" i told him why and it was a great compliment.

Another thing that he absolutely loves is when i call him by what he actually is ;))  

"What are u up to, boyfriend?" or "I miss my man"

it's a known fact that guys gloat and take pride in being YOUR man/bf/lover/husband. it is a recognition of his status that really touches he's ego.

of course u can try everything from pumpkin to sweetpea or cookie. as long as u think it's appropriate and he seems to like it.

whichever u choose, use it once, and if he doesn;t seem to like, don;t worry, just try a different one.

also, u don't have to have one SINGLE pet name. vary according to the situation.

if he's picky or nosy, call him Grouchy or Mr. Grinch, it'll all come naturally, don't worry.

Brody is a nice name, but it's usually awkward to have a pet name derived from ur name.
