I want a pet turtle like an res but smaller. What kind should i get?

Red ear sliders get too big and i dont have any more room for that. I want a turtle that acts a lot like an res but stays small.

I've had a mud/musk turtle for years. It is small ( about 6 inches fully grown) and friendly. It lives well with other turtles and prefers water with a small basking area. They are very hardy and low maintenance pets.

Generally there is no turtle who stays small....If you want a turtle it will get big.

musk turtle very cute i love mine they only get to be abt 4in long and male smaller do some reserch on diff turtles maps r the smallest in the world but i like my musk :)

Mud or musk turtles! they stay VERY SMALL .and do more research before you buy one!  you should have known how big your pet was gonna get. that's just basic .
