I want a purity ring but idk how to ask my mom!?

how do i ask my mom for a purity ring i want one really bad and i dont know how to ask her for one plz help!

I know it's kind of uncomfortable to bring the topic up with your Mum, but the fact is that they'll be delighted that you want to live a pure life.

You don't need to have an in depth conversation with her about s*x, you just need to state your decision and ask for her co-operation in helping you acquire a ring.

Thats a good question. Nobody wheres those anymore. Now adays there are 10 year olds pregnant, It'd be nice to see some people with purity rings. You should try searching online for places to get one. Maybe at a church?

If I were your Mom, and you asked me for a purity ring, you had better be dressed and ready for a trip to the mall, because we would be in the car and there before you had time to blink once.

Really, I would ask her in a nice way, explain the commitment you are making, make sure she understands you are sincere, and this is not a cover for some future night time escapades in some boy's backseat, and later say as a cover-up excuse, but Mom, I have a purity ring , we didn't do anything. I would be a little leery of that happening.

Actually, you do not need the ring to make the commitment, so if Mom is skeptical, then make the commitment anyway.

just... ask!  is it a special kind of ring or can it be any ring that you attach a promise to?  just go, "mom can i have this ring?" she can find out for herself that it's a purity ring.

talk to your mom when she's in a good mood and when she's alone.

tell her about exactly what your 'purity' means and her 'purity' means because kids and adults doesn't always interpret the same meaning. even though we both know what a purity ring is.

tell her why you want it. to be honest, i think your mom would get you on if you proved it to her such as being honest, getting good grades, etc.

The whole point of getting a purity ring from your parents is to have a conversation about s*x and your decision to not have it before marriage.  Just sit her down and tell her you have made a decision and you would like a symbol to represent that decision.  (Hopefully, it's not just to get a ring.)
