I want a small dog but it can't be a poodle,yorkie,shih-tzu,any dog people put in dog bags i am thinking jack russel terrier or a beagle

i think you should get a puggle or a parsons jack russel terrier because its a little bit bigger that  a normal jack russel and Less hyper

for your own sake dont get a jack russel terrier.. i have one..

and well.. ive lived with her for 10 years.. and thats 10 years too long.

shes crazy and i know other people  with the same breed and same craziness.

i do reconmend a beagle.

they are adorable and quiet and very playful.

Beagles are fantastic dogs, but I don't know if they'll fit in a bag.. keep in mind these dogs are living breathing creatures, not accessories.

Please consider your living condition before you pick.

Beagles are great, they have a strong odor then other dogs and are super hard to house break, They need and like to be worked outside.

Terriers are my fav, but jacks are very very hyper for 2 years and if they are not well trained on the COME command...your in for alot of trouble on catching them. There are many terriers so look online and see if you want to have low maintenance or alot of brushing. There are many breeders out there with MINI breeds.. They have alot of health problems...Stick with the Regular size.

Cocker Spaniels and Dachshunds can be hard to house break as well, you have to be very patient for some breeds.

Research your breeds.  A Jack is hyperactive and requires a lot of exercise, beagles are bred to be hunting dogs and do not like to be confined.  My choice would be a shih-tzu, they do not shed, are very affectionate & a lot of them are the same size as a small beagle.  I've had 2, one was about 16 lbs and the one I have now is 13.

A Rat Terrier.  They come in 3 sizes too.  They look similar toa Jack Russel, but they are a little calmer
