  1. well price doesnt matter so much as what kind of pet you get. i find that the ball python is the best kind to get. the dont bite instead they coil in a ball. they make great pets you only have to feed them once a week and since your brother has snakes he can teach you a lot about them. the only problem with ball pythons are theyre picky eaters. and you have to remember they live for 15-30 years so get ready for a life long pet. good luckk! =]

  2. The most least expensive and best snakes are Corn Snakes and Ball Pythons so there is not much more. Good Luck!

  3. get a rat snake there just like cornsnakess so your brother can help you...there very taim and there about 30-40 pounds

  4. amazon tree boa or blood python

  5. There's not a species just called a Northern Python so I don't know what you're referring to when you say that...?

Some other, somewhat less common snakes which make good/decent pets:

    Carpet Pythons - Specifically Jungle(5-7ft), Coastal(7-12ft), or Irian Jaya(4-6ft)

    Black Headed Python - 6-10ft

    Woma Python - 7-8ft

    Brazilian Rainbow Boa - 6-7ft

Dumerils Boa - 6-7ft sometimes larger

    Green Tree Python - 4-6ft
