2. Please, don't go to the pet store. Read this.

You will end up with a sickly thing that will end up costing a fortune in vet bills. And there are no such things as teacups. Please, do more research before you get a dog.

Seriously, can you be more ignorant? Do you think a good breeder would give up their beloved puppies to go who-knows-where?

See my adorable beagle in my avatar? He came from a shelter. He's the sweetest thing ever.

  3. teacup chihuahuas are really good. my cousin has one. their super tiny, very easy to carry around, and easy to care for. They don't bark a lot either. well hope that helps. congrats on the puppy! good luck! =)

  4. pretty obvious this is a troll trying to get us all worked up.

She just joined today and I think a 13 year old knows how to spell finally.

  5. DONT BUY FROM A PETSHOP!

Petshop puppies come from puppy mills! Go on youtube and watch the Oprah episodes on puppy mills.

There's no such thing as a "teacup" anything. Thats a marketing ploy to get you to buy an unhealthy runt. They often have serious health problems, and dont typically live more than a few years.

A "snoodle" is a mutt.. once again, a marketing ploy. They slap a cute name on a mixed dog to sell it for a profit.

The petshop tells you what you want to hear.. the "private breeder" is a puppy miller! Do you really think the petshop will admit to buying from a mill? NO! Think about it.. they need someone who can supply them with many different breeds and mixed breeds at all times... only a PUPPY MILL has that many dogs on hand to supply the petshop with puppies!

The puppies LOOK healthy because they pump them full of antibiotics and wormers before they shop them off to the petstore! Many health issues are not revealed until a vet exam, or after the dog has matured.

Cute little baby puppies are in shelters and rescues too..

  6. Do you realize how you sound? Please take a step back and re-evaluate before getting a dog.

Also, getting two puppies at once is a terrible idea - they are not cats! Cats are great to have in kitten pairs, but doing puppy training with two dogs at once is actually extremely difficult. They will learn bad habits from each other and break training because of pack issues between them and you. It's wiser to get a puppy, train him, and then get another puppy if you want a playmate. It'll be so, so much easier for you and for them. Many dogs are given away or sent to shelters because the owners couldn't manage them or train them. Making it harder on yourself when you don't sound like an experienced dog owner is extremely unwise. If you had raised dogs before, I wouldn't have a second thought about you trying to train two puppies at once, because you'd know what you were in for and have the experience to better handle the difficulties and succeed.

Also, petshop dogs are puppy mill and backyard breeder dogs. End of discussion. If you believe what the clerk, who is paid to sell you sick dogs and is paid to lie to you, says, then maybe you need to re-evaluate your logic.

I'm starting to wonder if this post is just a Troll, consider how poorly crafted it is and how ignorant. You can't really be on the dog section of yahoo! answers for more than 15 minutes and *not* see forty posts addressing why each of your statements are wrong or ignorant.

  7. Pet stores LIE. All pet stores get from puppy mills or back yard breeders where they are cheap

  8. Well, if you can't spell it properly, you shouldn't get one. Also, no pet store ever gets dogs from good breeders. It's called lying. It comes from the mouth and is opposite of the truth.

  9. Definitely not a chihuahua!

  10. Dude, you know your wrong. Your just trying to get others angry,I'm sure you aren't getting a dog at all. Anyway, thanks for the 2 points!!

  11. First off, do not buy from a petstore. One because the dogs arent trained very well, and they spend almost thier whole lives in crates. and, you will most likely not find a puppy at a petstore, you will most likely find just plain dogs. Try going to your local animal society, or animal shelters, and buy a puppy there. Then if they dont have puppies' MAYBE try buying one from a local breeder. But think if you get one from an animal shelter, you are saving a life!

Pomeranians, are very tiny and loyal to their owners!

Good Luck with your new pup!

  12. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!

Simply for the fact you're 13 I am not gonn say whats on my mind right now HOWEVER. You need to sit your parents down and have them read the following links.

If you want a mixed breed dog PLEASE go to your local shelter and save some poor animal's life.

A healthy dog is one that is over 4 lbs. Your dog does not need to be carried around like a baby or toy all the time. It has legs for a reason.

ADD: Petshop puppies come from Puppy mills and Backyard breeders. No good breeder will EVER sell to a pet shop

There are no such things as teacups.

  13. how about a webkinz instead

  14. Ahaha no way! cool.

Um, ok first off please don't buy puppies from a pet store they are puppymill dogs. Which means they are badly bred dogs. Getting 2 is a good idea but are you sure you can provide? food? toys? vet bills?a bed? Ok now, do you have enough time to devote to the dog? If your a p*****n or something please consider that you will grow up and the dog will lie at home while your out with friends. If so get a fish.

As for the breed it depends how much attention and exersice can you give it? "TEACUPS" are basically sick little runts which = a hole in your dad's wallet.

    http://www.barkrescue.net/teacup.htm

dogs werent meant to be "carried around" thats why they have legs!

  15. "nuh uh! at the pet store they are not from there. they told me and they came frim a privet breader. they are very healty!"

Actually, no pet store will ever admit this, but all pet store puppies DO come from puppy mills. Pet stores prey on the ignorance of those who don't believe they come from puppy mills.

If they give ANY excuse for you not to see the parents, they are hiding something from you. Even if they say the parents are dead. That should raise a lot of interesting questions.

If they come from a private breeder, ask them where they are located so you can see how the parents are living in h**l. Every purchase from a pet store goes to further support the h**l the parents are in.

There is no such thing as a Teacup sized dog. The AKC doesn't recognize them, and you can't show them.

The dogs at shelters are often small and puppies. I got a 6 month old dog from there.

Edit: Since your parents will be the ones to shell out the money, paying vet bills, and doing most of the care(yes, they will), they should decide what kind of dog they want.

What happens when you move off to college? With that kind of spelling you have, college won't be in your future unless you improve the spelling. Should the spelling improve, you can't take a dog to live in the dorm with you. Most apartments don't allow for dogs, and of those that do, they charge an arm and a leg. Then there's the fact that you won't have time for the dog. So, the dog spends the last 10 years or so of it's life with your parents.

  16. Get a yorkie . They are so cute, small, and cuddly

  17. Somebody shoot me now.

  18. All puppies are little.

All puppies will grow up to be dogs.

Are you planning on doing anything else with it, besides play with with it? Are you going to clean up after it, or do you expect your parents to?

There is no such breed as a teacup.

Have you considered maybe getting a hamster or a ferret. Ferrets like to play. I've seen ferrets with shirts and bandannas so you can dress it up if you want. You can also get gold harnesses with matching leashes.

There are plenty of puppies at shelters,

The dogs at the shelters were once cute puppies (unfortunately, just like the one you'll be getting, unless your parents come to their senses).
