I want a tattoo but im hairy, does it matter?

I wanna get a tattoo on my arm or my legs. Im hairy specially my legs... will you still be able to see the tattoo? will the hair keep growing on the tattoo areas?

it doesnt matter if you have little hair or a lot of hair because if you have hair at all they shave the area where you are gonna get tattood because the hair would interfear if you dont.

yes you can get a tat were you want but the hairs on your leg will still grow out &you wouldn't be abel to see it, if like you said your hairy

i got a tattoo on my knuckles and they had to shave it first and the hair didnt grow back

it does not matter if u have hair in that place cuzz they well shave u b4 they put on tha tat ok there is 3 ways how to solve this let them shave it off and u get that tat and shave it lik 1 a week 2 get that tat and let tha hair go on it 3 get none hair butter and put it where ever u want soon u do that ur cool right back when u have eby more qustions..

The Tattoo artist will shave you if you did not shave preiviously, and the hair will grow back. Colors Red blue and black will be most visible green as well

You will still be able to see it, not as easily because hair can make legs and arms appear darker than they really are, and the hair should grow back after getting the tattoo.

You will have to shave or use Nair etc. before getting it, so the artist can see what he's doing in case you didn't already know that.

Do you really want to have to shave your leg or arm in order to see a tattoo?

Put the tattoo somewhere you have less hair like (hopefully) your back, upper arms, foot, or neck. Just make sure that you get the tattoo on your upper back, because you'll look like a girl with a tramp-stamp. lol ;D

Yeah, my gym teacher had a dinosaur tattoo on his hairy-as-heck leg - they'll probably have to shave the area to tattoo it, but it'll grow back and you should still be able to see it perfectly clear.

They will shave you initially. The hair will grow over your tattoo. You can keep shaving or wax to have your tattoo show through. It will be visible with hair over it, but it won't be detailed. I would shave or wax to get the full effect.

Yes you will see the tattoo. Yes the hair will grow through it.  If you are especially hairy, try a dark, basic tattoo as the intricate one's won't show as well.

The artist will shave the area you're going to have tattooed. The hair will grow back, but you'll be able to see the tat, depending on the colors of the inks.

no they acctuly shave you..if your not already shaved...idk if the hair grows back...but you can still get your tat
