Your homeowners insurance, subject to the deductible covers lightning strikes.  Call the number in your phone book.

A strike caused about $3,500 damage to my home...stuff kept appearing even after a few weeks..timer on stove, doorbell,phones, computer modem, my TiVo  better look around stuff will keep popping up...ground fault sockets
