I really want to help the enviroment and have a hybrid car but I have a family of five and we don't fit in the Ford Escape Hybrid, so what do I do? I can't really afford more than that. I don't know what to do.

  1. Consider what families the size of yours did before the invention of the automobile. It may be a good idea to get your head round that, because it is a state we could very soon be back to.

  2. get you a nice suv and take the motor out and put foot pedals in to move the suv. kids can help that way. drag feet to stop. help save the world.

  3. 5 bikes are energy efficient vehicles...

  4. I have the same problem- only I have 6 every other weekend. I want a Toyota Corolla with 38 mpg but it is a bit small. My current vehicle can seat 6 exactly.

  5. Just buy a used M939A2 5 ton with oversized 14:00 R20 tires & rear tandem singles and slap a bunch of CO2 offset stickers on the back.  That is what they do in Mill Valley.

  6. I would suggest leasing a Chevrolet Tahoe hybrid. They are good in size (will easily seat 8) and are very nice vehicles. They are a little more expensive, but you can get a good deal on a lease (ask around). By the time your lease is up, the market for hybrid vehicles will be bigger, and there fore, less expensive. Good luck!

  7. HOW ABOUT A HORSE AND BUGGY. SAVE ON GAS IF YOUR NOT IN A HURRY.
