  1. yes but no support from t-mobile  you can only do what t-mobile network will allow you to do.

  2. People have hacked into it and put it into their wireless network, but its illegal.  If you go to the store to get a new phone, they usually make you take the old phone and that wouldn't be good.  You would have a very large fee and probably get sued.  So i recommend you just get AT&T instead of having to pay 50,000+ for hacking:)

  3. If the phone is unlocked, you should be able to get it on any carrier you want

Just make sure that when you go to have T-Mobile put service on it, that you are connected to their cell internet connection as well as your cell service, that way, programs like Safari will work, and it should operate similar to how it would on AT&T (except everywhere it should say AT&T, it will instead say T-Mobile, or nothing at all), as long as you have internet and cell service, nothing should be limited (just like a computer, the programs are programs, not services, it just requires a certain service to operate, in most cases, an internet connection)

  4. Wait for the Android aka Google Phone by T-Mobile.  I hear it's coming out in September and it's an iPhone Killer.  It also has a 3x5 screen like the iPhone.
