  1. AT&T does not sell the iPhone in the US without a contract yet - even when they do the phones will still be locked to AT&T.  You can buy one on ebay that is unlocked, but the 3g will not work with T-Mobile in the US, so you might as well buy an unlocked first generation iPhone.

  2. yes, Apple is a slick smart company. The first generation iphone was hackable to work with a variety of sim card networks for quite some time. I guarantee it they worked most of the bugs and this 3g phone is anchored to the AT&T network.... booooo!!!! I wish Verizon would have worked something out with Apple, but both companies are too hard up on themselves to even share profits 50/50.

  3. no u can only do that if u

get it from ebay because they are

    unlock phones and it

    only works with at&t..the

ones on ebay are too exspensive

and 3g is apart of the name

not how man g it has

  4. I'm not sure if you could use it with t-mobile maybe if it's unlocked, I found some but they are over 500 bucks, use link below. there are some on this page that are around 400 bucks but they are 2g I think. Second link is to a 16gb unlocked iphone and it says it is available for tmobile.

    Good luck.
