my forehand is now getting even better and better ever day, my backhand has also improved alot, my serves also just keep on getting better... i play almost everyday ATLEAST 1 and half hour... my serves are great but now r getting a little bad cuz da whole time my form was rong so i had to start over on serve but i got better quickly, r there ne pros who started late? my volleys r okay. and i am serios about this, tennis is now m only sport, i know ill b amazing by high school cuz i just versed this kid in 9 or 10 th grade and i would say im a little better than him, and hes on the varsity team( in singles though, in doubles i got whooped... im just bad at doubles) and does the racquet u use make a HUGE difference in ur game?( once again im just asking an opinion) ive been playin since 10 but just got serious last year, and really serious this year.

  1. well i don't think starting late would matter. At my school the #1 player started when he was 3, but the #2 player started when he was 14, and they're both pretty even.

  2. i think you can but id say get better at doubles but dont worry too much there just keep fit[pick up weight lifting or yoga or run or somthing] and practice everyday more than u do now by a little stay determined and u have a chanc3e

  3. If you want to be a pro you are going to have to get really really good.  Play every day for 3 hours and train extremely hard.  Who knows, maybe we will see you on tv in couple of years :)  Good luck!

  4. No you have no chance unless you change the way you practice. High School people suck compared to USTA tournament players. If your not in the top 10 by your age then you will not make pros. Even if you make pro you won't make much money unless you are top 50 so it is really hard. Your serve just getting better will not help you.

  5. Um... I guess so.  Most pros started before that though.  But you probably still have a chance, if you work like insamely hard at it.
