I want assemble the 7.1 or 5.1 dvd home theatre sys. which products i buy like wire dvd speaker amplifier?

what is differences between 5.1 or 7.1 or 9.1 while dvd's format is 5.1 then why another. my budget is 20000 to 30000 rupees (indian currency) I want the sound is like a first class theatre.

Can you suggest if i run any normal DVD or C.D's in Sony DVD Player. does Analoge & digital signal can be read by Amplifier. so for asking simple question, but have no idea about electrical stuff.
