I want bangs but i have curly hair...?

Question

What should i do? I want bangs, preferably down to my nose or an emover. but i don't want them to curl up, so my question is will they curl up or stay straight without the help of a straightener? if i do get them, will they look strange with straight bangs and curly hair? would I have to straighten my hair every day? Sorry this isn't so clear, but thanks!

you can still have bangs with curly hair but you need to talk to your hair dresser about that. Tell him/her that cut the bangs according to your hair type so you wont need fussing every morning to do your hair.

You can have your hair relaxed so it will stay straight for 6 months or so...

It really depends on HOW curly your hair is. if you're hair is really, really, curly, then I suggest to either use a straightener, but sometimes it DOES look good. if it's just really wavy, I'd go for it.

get the bangs. and get a hair straightener. all you do is leave your curly hair the way it is but just straighten your bangs. i see taht a lot and its really cute.

Use a flat iron (hair straightner, whatever you want to call it).

And yes they will stay curly if you don't straighten it with a flat iron. I don't think it will look strange because when I had curly hair, I always straightened my bangs. And they looked hella good too. (:

Just try to get them wavy, so it's not jumping directly from curly to straight ya know?

if you have move wavy than curly hair, it might not curl up that badly.

if your like me and have super curly hair, try to lightly straighten it so it still looks natural but its not freakishly curly.

or you can straighten the bangs, wear a headband, and then keep the rest of your hair curly (which i do sometimes)

but overall, you'd look best with all around straight hair if you get bangs.

I also have curly/wavy hair.  So I use a straight iron...it works great!  Now that I have been using the straight iron, I can't imagine my life without it.  Check it out!  The CHI is the best!

only get them if you are going to make a commitment to straightening them everyday if not don't they'll look funny.

Yea you would have to straighten it with an iron.  But no i think straight bangs with curls looks hot.  Idk it may look weird to you, but my in my opinion, it looks nice. However, you could straighten all your hair, it takes a while though around 30min(if your lucky) to an hour or more.  And if your hair gets wet, or its humid out, or raining, you'd have to straighten it again.  So if you shower, walking in the rain, or just out on a humid day. Good luck, I bet it will look great!

I have bangs and my hair is EXTREMELY curly.

If you don't want them curly the only thing you can do is straighten them. =/ I just cover up my hair with a hat or headband if I don't feel like straightening it.

i think thye will curl but im not positive u could get a chemcially strighted hair but it can damage ur hair

u would have to straighten the bangs if u want them not to be curly.  i do the curls and straighten them all the time, it looks fine. if you got it professionally straightened, it would last longer.
