I want to put all the photos in one place to avoid us emailing to each other.

you can each make an account on flickr.com. you upload your photos and your friends can go to your photos and save them. they also have options to have your friends be in a community (probably more of what you arelooking for). int the community you uupload your photos and can save your friends...all in one place. the only kind-of bad part is that you each have to make an account, but it is free and really easy to us

Open a flickr account (for free). Share the log-in and password, then you can all upload and update.
