  1. You might find Yellowknife interesting.

  2. Best place for job search is alberta or BC

  3. Toronto, for sure!

its the New York of Canada.

    either that or Vancouver.

    but toronto is better. :)

  4. no matter where you decide to go dont forget you need a work permit to work in canada and a visa to allow you to live there

  5. Wherever you go, please make sure that you have a legal way to live/work here. If you show up at the border with the intent to move, you will be turned away.

You can research the different immigrations routes at www.cic.gc.ca.

As for the city you will eventually move to, it really depends. Toronto is a very expensive city to live in, with a high cost of living. Cities like Montreal and Ottawa, and even Quebec City, are more affordable to live in. They have great public transportation systems also. Depending on what field of work you are in, the different cities offer different job markets.

I suggest checking into immigration and making sure you have a way to legally come here, and then come back and give us a little more information about yourself (job, age, interests) as well as what cities you are interested in, and we can give you a better idea on what to expect.

    Good Luck!

  6. You need to determine first of all whether you qualify to immigrate to Canada or not. You can't just show up at the border and expect to find a job and a place to live; immigration is a long, drawn out and costly venture. You ought to check out http://www.cic.gc.ca and go through the website carefully.

What qualifications do you have that would make it easier for you to come and live and work in Canada? If you are classified as an unskilled worker then your chances of moving to Canada are close to nil; we have enough unskilled workers.
