I think most people change their majors at some point during college.  Nothing unusual.  Start with the classes you have to take...i think they're called core courses...and see what you enjoy and what you're good at.  Good luck.

First of all you need to know what interest you.  For example what classes do you enjoy and have the best grades in.  If you are not good at math don't be a engineer or if you are not good at science don't go into the medical field.  But it is nothing to be worried about because there are tons of students that are unsure of what they want to major in so I advise you to take a couple of classes in college and you will automatically find what interest you or as they say "your true calling".  Hope this helps.

Once you go to college. You dont have to choose a major right away..they give u time...to choose..

I would pick a good community college, or four year depending on how much money you want to spend. And then focus on doing just general requirements and see what you like.

I salute your courage to be able to post this question. I will start by saying that; do not let anyone choose a career path for you.

You need to take a look back at your life and find your interests, what you love doing as a child or still/are doing presently?  What do you enjoy most that brings joy to you.?Whats your personality type?

Let me share my personal life with you. I started writing at the age of 5, drawing cartoons and all that good art stuffs, right from the age of 9, I knew I want to be a magazine publisher in life. This writing skill grew with me and is still with me. I am in school studying mass communication. I also love to organise empowering events especially for teens, I am also taking classes to earn a degree in Sports.Entertainment & Event Management. I choose these majors cos of my skills and interests.

You can still go to college and be picking credits or pick an undecided major, there are lots of students in college without any idea of what they want o become.

So relax, you are not the first and you will not be the last one to be in this situation. if you are in college for a while, you can get to figure out what you want.

Reading and researching about majors and jobs can help too.

But first, seeing an academic counselor might be a good way to kick start your college.
