  1. Apply for just a teller position usually all you need is maybe some customer service experience and money handling experience, if you work there long enough you will rise in position:)  good luck

  2. You have to get the proper education.  Including spelling, grammar and math and accounting.

  3. First - work VERY hard on your English skills.  You have to be able to communicate with the customers.  You also should be fluent in French - but start with the English as I have an idea it's not your first language.

Check with your local Community College or Technical College or whatever they call it over the Bridge.  They will have courses - many of them free - that can help you with this.

You might also consider making an appointment to meet with someone in the Personnel Department at TD Downtown Toronto and just ASK them what their requirements are.  They may be looking for someone who is fluent in YOUR first language.  You never know unless you ask.

Dress in a two piece suit, white blouse to the neck, tan hose, low heels and a briefcase type bag or folder.  Little, if any, make-up. Take several resumes and leave them with the person.

If you're short on money - go to a Church thrift shop in a wealthier part of town.  You'll be amazed at what you can find for a few dollars.  And if the size is a little off - I bet you or your mother can fix it to fit.

Good luck!  Banking is a good place to start your career!
