  1. If you are an American citizen...you will find it is very difficut to get a work permit in ANY other country...just as it is dificult for foreigners to get one in the U.S.  Generally, you must have  at least a 4 yr colege degree and be skilled in a job that is badly needed in that country.  you must find an empoyer there to sponsor your work visa, or an American company to have a contract with.,  and these are not commonly offered to entry level employees.  NO countries give a general work visa for you to just go and job hunt. Japan and China are VERY difficult to get visas too...and all European countries give first chance to ALL other members of the EU.  In truth, your chances of success are greatest in the U.S. Working in a foreign country is a fascinating idea..and many people want to, but in reality, it is nearly impossible.  You can go to the websites of the embassies of the countries you are interested in and research visa requirements.  If you finish your eduction, get an advanced degree and a speciality, you may have a better chance. ALL foreign countries require you to show that you have sufficient income to support yourself while in their country, or a specific work contract with an employer who is sponsoring your work visa.
