  1. What? That made no sense.

  2. Thats silly. I don't know how or why you would want that.

  3. No , My husband is British and because we live in Boston our daughter doesn't have a British accent.. she says a few "British words" but no accent ...

  4. First I have to say that this is question seems a bit nuts; but I will humor you because I too like the British accent. In fact, my cousin and I sometimes talk to each other in a British accent for fun (I am actually saying this in my head in a British accent now). So I can understand your fascination with it as well. If you start talking to them with a British accent for fun, they will pick it up and do it back in fun as well...which could make for hours of amusement when they get older. Cheers!

  5. well first of all there are trainers that you can go to but it might be a little weird for them to know that they were born in america and grew up with a british accent

  6. no. unless you like get special lessons or something.

  7. Why in this world would you want your children to grow up with a phony accent?  They would be laughed at by their peers and probably even be picked on.  If you are from GA then you should KNOW that we Georgians love our southern accent.  I can not imagine wanting my children to be anything or anyone but themselves and if your children live in GA then part of who they are is their southern accent.  Grow up.

  8. Why do you want that? Let them be them!

  9. That is simply ridiculous.

  10. Get a satellite dish, leave the TV on the BBC at all times unless you put in a hugh grant or monty python dvd.

    Hire a British nanny.

    ???

    Profit.

  11. Why though?

I guess you could teach it in the house but as children growing up, it would be a hard thing for them to learn both english and an accent all at the same time.

  12. well then find a really really British guy who has the accent and everything and your baby could possibly turn out with some British accent

  13. No, the only way that is going to happen is if you move to England.
