I want my bellybutton pierced!?

im 14 and my mom said i could get my bellybutton pierced but i want to know if there is anything that i cant do after i get it done?, whether its a week later or a year later.

In the first few weeks you have to be carful when washing your hair in the shower- try to wash it so the soap goes down your back. Getting shampoo/conditioner in your new peircing can lead to infection. Try to avoid wearing tight clothing around the area... low rise jeans are the best because they dont interfere with your peircing.

Dont let anyone touch it for a while as the bacteria on their hands may give you an infection. Clean the area gently and be careful when taking off your shirt because it can get hooked!!!

All of the above problems will go away after it has ahd time to heal....

You can do pretty much anything, avoid chlorine pools, or getting sand in the hole.

what do you mean? like.. sports?

sports usually dont stop you

and.. if you're talking about in general, well all i could think of is if they had to do an x-ray of your body in that area, they'd have to take out your bellybutton ring. if its an exray of your upperbody however, they'd just put one of those heavy covers over your belly button
