a little baby or toddler. I have 10 year old sister and want 1 more from like newborn to 3. My family (mom and dad) were thinking of this a couple years ago, so I think it's not like they don't want it. My mom isn't able to have a baby because she had to get her uterus taken out after having my sister, because she was bleeding too much and it wouldn't stop. What can I do to get them to do this? I haven't asked but don't want to sound stupid asking. Oh and I'm 13.

  1. asking them would help... if they say no your SOL

  2. Just ask them why they arent considering it anymore. If they think your a responsible girl, they will most likley think about it more. I would just plainly ask your mom in private and then your dad and then with the whole family. Your sister will probably back you up!

  3. Talk to them about it. They might not be thinking about another baby because of money problems or maybe they might feel to old to raise another newborn. My parents adopted my younger brother when I was 11. (his mom was really bad into drugs and left him with our family and is now in jail, she signed over all rights to my parents and they adopted him.) but thats how they were feeling when we first got him.. that they didnt have the money for a new baby and all their kids were over the age of 10. Sit down and tell them that its something you would like for them to do. plus its great birth control dont tell them that but once you see what a new baby is like you'll not want to have kids for a while.

  4. You could run the idea by them,

    but you need to think...

it might be fun and games to have a new born in a house, but it also takes A LOT of work, and a lot of financial resources.

You need to be able to provide medical care, and food, and clothing...

adoption is not an easy process either.

There are lots of kids who need adopting, you could talk to your parents about it. It is nice to see such compassion that you have for children without a home.

    Best of luck
