I want my group back in public listings .pls help me out the settings seems to permanent.help me out!! anyone?

When you start your group you have to choose if the group is public or private  if you chose private that cannot be changed. You could start another group with a very minor name change and make it public then advise all your present members  about the new group.  I know it seems stupid but  to the best of my knowledge  unless there has been a change that's the way iit is

you didn't mention what membership type the group was. there are 3 types: public, restricted and closed.  if you have a closed group, it is not reversible and will always be closed. you're only option then is to create a new group.

if you have any other type group and don't have your group in the directory, you can change that.

management- under group settings click description and appearance- scroll to listing type and select listed- click save changes
