I want my hair blonde on top and black on bottom?

Okay I didn't see anything about the Jonas Brothers in your question but anyway about the hairdo, well, I think that went out of style 3 years ago. I used to like it, but now it just seems so tacky as I have seen way too many people do it. It just doesn't look right on anyone anymore.

I would go for the black underneath, but only if your hair is already blonde. Don't dye it blond for that. Any hair cut would work. Or cut it short in the back with layers and long on the sides, framing the face, kinda like posh spice.

hey i think it sounds kool dont listen to other people i have had the same as what you want but opposite (blonde underneath black on top)and have had it for about 4-5 years and still love it..i would recommend getting it layered and having the blonde cut about an inch or so shorter than the black so that u can see it from behind even when ur hair is down...hope this helps

Well I have no idea what Malarie S is talking about it is totally irrevelent, and I don't see how being different is a bad thing. But anyways, one of my close friends has her hair platnium blonde with black underneath and it looked fine, but eventually it goes brown of course.

It's a common cut for girls these days... if ur a guy, if its short and spiked it might work.

I think this hairstyle is over with.  I've seen it all over for the past few years and it's pretty dated.  If you choose to do it, you need to have hair that's a little longer than shoulder length and then just do layers or something.  Make sure you go to a good salon that knows what they are doing, you can always go in for only a consultation.  That way you'll be sure of what you're doing when you go to get the actual style.

I'm not sure if this is what your are looking for, but my hair is naturally light brown. I have blond highlights. The bottom layer of my hair is black....its very cute and I get compliments all of the time!!

no, no no no no no no no. Do not do it, please. It really does look tacky. I know the look you are going for, and that look is really good, infact I myself sometimes go for that look. But Dont. Do. That. I just saw a girl at the Betsey Johnson Store with that look, and it was very tacky, If you are going to die your hair that way do a darker shade of blonde, with a dark hazelnutish (that darkness) do it that way :)

its over done and doesn't look too good on some people, but if you like it and want to try it, i suggest using a brown underneath first incase you end up not liking it that way its easier for the colour to lighten and you to dye over it, and if you do like it then you can dye it black.

it could look really cute or really trashy. The key would be to go to a (good) salon and get it done, then the colors won't merge. Also- personal opinion- i think a medium length straight cut looks best think... Jennifer Aniston sorta Just don't get too many layers.

Okay what is wrong with Mararie! She was asking about her HAIR mastermind! and what was with the "you people" remark! so now are you against people who die their hair!

I don't think the colors go well together there is too much a contrast and they look 2 harsh on the same head. but it might look cool if you died ur hair blonde and colorful tips and bangs.

My friend has that and it looks adorable! For the first time you might wanna go with a light brown under and then have it gradually get darker, so if you dont like it with two seperate colors, you can change it right away. hope i helped and good luck! :D
