I want my dream house to look like Abercrombie & Fitch. First I will start out by calling A&F and see if they can make the store look exactly like my house except about 20,000 square feet bigger than that. I want the front to look like this:

Then I want it to braek off into two roome like the A&F store and have the kitchen in the middle. Bedrooms on the right and bathrooms on the left. Living room etc throught the house! Then I want those great pictures that they take in the store. I also want spot lighting on the clothes that I have on shelves. I want a hanging small speaker in every conere and room in the house just like the store. I want this house tp be perfect!

How much do you think this will cost? The flooring will be black polished wood. Gray walls with white molding, polished concrete entrance, and black wooden louvers in the front where windows are!

How much do you think that will cost?

  1. you want a 20,000 sq. ft. house?  figure 100-200 per square foot with all the fancy things you want.  good luck with that.

  2. The largest home I've ever designed was 53,000 sf which came out to $32 million.  Since you need to set up the home's finish to be on par with its stature, it will run you anywhere from $300-550/sf for the home construction.

  3. i have no idea but i think that sounds cool :)

  4. hmm. as weird as that would be, it's a nice dream to have i suppose. it would obviously be expensive. you're probably reaching to the one million mark to make a house like that. but i'm sure by the time you have enough money to build a house, you'll change your mind though. so........good luck?!

  5. It's kinda silly to have the bathrooms all together in one place.

And you want the floor and walls to be the same throughout?

It seems like this is an impulse idea that you may get tired of in the long run...but if you've got the money to do that kind of thing, go ahead.
