I do not like the new Yahoo and want my old Yahoo back. Despite repeated pleas al I get is the runaround instead of a direct-to-me straightforward answer. What a way to treat an old Yahoo subscriber!

  1. I think we all want it back.....

But Yahoo doesn't care. The page load times for the new My Yahoo are a pathetic joke. All we got was a slower loading web page that is ugly and no more useful. I haven't seen any positive comments but tons of negatives.

I use yahoo finance, they added a scrolling ticker that you can't turn off. Now those pages load slow and can "freeze" up your web browser.

Makes me wonder who runs Yahoo development. They don't have a clue what a good product is any more....

  2. Sorry, don't have an answer for you, but I'd like to second your comments.  The new MyYahoo is SLUGGISH!  It takes anywhere from a couple, up to several, seconds just to scroll the page!  To make matters worse,  Yahoo has never responded to any of my questions about the problem.

I liked the old MyYahoo, and was very upset when it was disabled with no warning (at least I never saw any).

So, I guess I have a return question:  Does anyone have any suggestions for a good alternative to MyYahoo for a good customizable front page application?

  3. I agree, load times are slow and max out CPU.  They will lose many users if they don't fix this.  BTW, can anyone recommend a replacement?

  4. I think 99% of the people hate it I do not know why they switched everyone and did not leave an option to switch back.  I guess when it is free we have to take what they have. Yahoo more or less says we are stuck with it.  Good luck!!!

  5. If you find out let us know. Obviously the developers are living in a technological cloud. Half the people in the U.S. are still on dialup and most of the other half are using old computers. Most of us are tired of change for the sake of change and don't own the latest multi-core multi-gigahertz mega-memory computers the the developers must be using to test this stuff.

Just put it back the way it was!!

  6. Just put it back!!
