I want my old start toolbar back. I have the "vista look" bar that is blue but you can see through it ........

the wallpaper pic can be seen through it. I really prefer the regular version of XP start bar but I am not sure how to get it back. Help!

If you're running Windows Vista, as far as I know, there's no built-in way to get the XP taskbar back.

let me get this straight, you have Windows XP and u installed a 3rd party program to make it look like Windows Vista.  Create a restore point, go to start, all programs, accessories, system tools, restore.

then go to control panel add remove programs and uninstall the program that gave u the Vista look on your XP computer.

if that doesnt work, go back to restore point, and this time select restore and choose a date prior to u installing the vista look alike program

right click on the task bar, then properties.  Click on the start menu tab and select classic
