I want my old sword appraised,where can i get it appraised online??

the sword is very old and has some interesting engravings also i know the handle is gold, i have takin pictures of it and if its posable to do it online?because i live in virginia.very curious to see how much it would be :)

You will need to take it to a antique appraiser in person to get a true valee, they would be able to reccommend someone or tell you how valuable it is , there is no way to do it by a photo, since some tale-tell signs are to small for them to pick up this way,,

The handle may be gold colored or gold plated, but it's not solid gold because gold is very soft and would work off the tang.  The sword itself may be valuable, particularly if you can find out where it's from.
