I want o get into acting but...please help?

Question

I'm 16 and of course I want to finish school first. but a lot of actors jump start their career by just leaving to Hollywood and finding auditions.

I know about acting I'm in 3/4 theater this year for junior

but right afterworlds once i graduate should I just head to hollywood?

you shoudl do some classes!participate in plays! build up your resume! get an agent! do auditions! get headshots!

and for an agent go to talentagents.blogspot.com and scroll down till you find city nearest you

read everythign you see! and click on words in blue but not double udnerlined ones and i suggest that you sign up with alan baltes go to first site and look at right column it explains everything! he wont be an agent just help you out and its a one time fee of 30 dollars and totally worth it!please do not report mee ok i am not doing anything bad and this isnt spam or solicitation its not my site!i just copy and paste my answer cause its teh same for every question and sometimes i alter it! whats wrong with that?

I suggest going to college to study musical theatre/acting first

If for college you want to go to a muscial theatre college, then do that.

Go to college....not everyone has an acting careet that makes them a star or lasts forever- learn all you can about the theatre so that you can continue to work in the field one way or the other.

Also, actors are intelligent people.You need to know about art, literature, music, science to be a well rounded actor.

So many of the great actors went to college and created many contacts while there.

no not a good idea. hollywood is a hard place to live in. The best idea is look for a good agency in your area then when you get big you and your agent go to a to 10 agency in holly wood................baby steps
