  1. if u want peps to hear it better run more than 1 12 try at least 2 bro

  2. u souldnt want people to hear it.......u should want people to feel it

  3. Buy a sub that can handle a shitload of juice if you want to be heard or destroy your eardrums.  Kicker subs are loud subs for cheap.  Alpine type r in a ported box with a good 900 watts rms at least will work also.  Cerwin vega has allright stuff but I haven't seen anything new from them in a while.

  4. i have a friend with twokicker L5s that bumps so lound you can hear it a block away, with only one 1000 watt amp powering both!!

but if you really want loud bass go for a set of pioneer premiers TS-W3001D2 ,2000 watts RMS ,and 3000 watts max, or some cerwin vega strokers are really nice too... ported boxes are always lounder than non ported because all tha pressure and sound waves can be realeased easier

  5. If you are more concerned in loudness and SPL and not SQ then you will need to focus on that.

First, RF is not going to be the brand you want to look at for straight SPL.  I would look at Kicker or Fi Car Audio to start with.  They will have similarly priced subs that will be set up for more SPL type sound.

When finding an amp you want to ideally be pretty close to the total RMS of the subs.  So if you get two 500watt RMS subs you would want an amp that is around 1000watt RMS at the correct load (measured in ohms).  What is also important is finding a good quality amp.  Not all amps are created equally.  Just because one amp is 2000watts and the other amp is 500watts doesn't mean the 2000watt amp is better.  What you need to look at is the brand of the amp.  Also, amps that are CEA-2006 compliant have power numbers that are going to be accurate and not exaggerated like some companies tend to do.

For an enclosure, it all depends on what sub you get.  However, most subs work well in ported or sealed enclosures.  If this is the case then a ported enclosure will tend to give you the most output.  You would want an enclosure that is designed to give you the more output from your sub.  Something with a higher tuning frequency will give you more output but will not be as good for sound quality.  In your case I don't think that will be much of a problem.  One problem you may run into though, is how large the enclosure will need to be.  A lot of SPL subs need a lot of space to get the most output from them.  Having a custom enclosure made is going to be vital in order to use all the space you can.

    Good Luck!!!

Edit: One more thing to add...

When looking for the most output you need to know what gives you output.  First is going to be power.  Everytime you double the power you get a 3 db max increase in loudness.  You also get a 3 db increase everytime you double the cone area.  This is assuming subs with the same properties though.

So two 12s would be louder then 1 15 (again assuming proper enclosure is used and efficiencies are the same) because the two 12s have more cone area.

  6. you should get a rockford fosgate amp and make sure you mate the ohm loads... get aroung 1500 to 3000 watts rms... they will surely hear you then

  7. Many, many, many of us would like to put your bass where the sun won't find it.
